Hello, my name is Brandon Lanthier, and I am a civil and geotechnical engineer based in California. I would like to take a moment to thank you for visiting my website. I came up with the idea for this website in 2021 during the pandemic as a way to document and share my experiences as a geotechnical engineer. The website is designed to function as a blog with weekly content about being a civil engineer. Some posts will be anecdotes, some will be calculation examples, some will be sharing interesting articles from around the web. In any case I am sure that this website will change and morph over time. I hope that we can learn and grow together!
